Work Progress
Karle Tribal Village, Kudremukh Hills, Karnataka
Foundation Work for 3/10 residences completed with granite stone at a cost of INR 50,000 in 2 successive Schedules through contributions from UravuStudio and SamsePanchayat President Mr. Ravi Kumar and volunteering by Architecture Students and Resident Tribals.
3rd Schedule (May 5th-14th) involves Wall work with Laterite Stone for which we are looking to raise INR 90,000 for materials and INR 31,500 for labor through Building Workshop/Settlement study, Contributing materials/labor or direct financial contributions.

AN INVITATION TO STUDY NATURAL BUILDINGS THROUGH VOLUNTEERING @ KARLE TRIBAL HAMLET, CHIKAMAGALURU, KARNATAKA
Volunteers will be expected to co-ordinate on-site work, also practice and participate in hands on construction at site. In addition, volunteers can help with their skills to Document and analyze the design and build.

PARTICIPATE IN BUILDING WORKSHOP/SETTLEMENT STUDY

The intent is to study the Architectural, Ecological, Economic and Socio-cultural characteristics of the Tribal settlements and analyze the possibilities of its responsive conservation.
